Eric Seaburg is an illustrator and artist from Newtown, Connecticut. He has lived in Connecticut, New Zealand, Mississippi, Germany, and now California. He has a BFA with emphasis in illustration from Paier College of Art and an MFA in illustration from Academy of Art University. He has been involved with many types of art. His skills include but are not limited to digital and traditional painting, narrative painting, concept art, color theory, perspective, character design, and environment design. Eric also has experience in publishing including writing and creating children’s books, editing, design and layout of books, and comics.
While at the Academy of Art his illustration talent was recognized in their annual Spring Show where he won 1st Place in 2022 for his advertising illustration. His client list includes Blue Note Publications. Today, Eric lives in Sacramento, California with his wife and dog. He enjoys working with publishers to create book cover and book interior art among other projects. He runs his own freelance illustration business called Eric Seaburg Art. Eric Seaburg Art is a certified SDVOSB.
