David Stewart Klein is a Los Angeles based Fine Artist and Illustrator from Queens, New York. He has a BFA in Painting from Otis College of Art and Design and is currently a member of the Tag Gallery collective in Los Angeles. His themes deal with social repression, inner suppression, and anxiety, while beautifully characterizing subtle features and personal qualities through unique color pallets and organic form.
Klein draws his biggest visual inspirations from nature, real-life people, comic books, 80s/90s cartoons, grunge culture, dark polish art, and Van Gogh’s textured world.
