Tom Parsons is an illustrator, designer and art teacher from North Carolina. He began his career in screen-printing and sublimation, designing cycling jerseys and other printed textiles. Tom is influenced by a wide range of subjects such as narrative art, 3D printing and model making, humorous comics, music, etc.

His illustrations start with lots of rough pencil sketches which are then finished digitally with hand painted textures incorporated throughout. Occasionally he also makes small paintings in traditional media such as casein and gouache. Tom holds a B.F.A. in Communication Arts from East Carolina University and is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in K-12 Art Education at UNC Charlotte.
