Pashur, grew up in the Music City – Nashville, TN – with no musical talent. Instead, he had a crazy amount of passion for art. He cut out his favorite comic strips from the daily newspapers and begged his dad to take him to a five and dime store to buy a crazy amount of comic books. It took a crazy amount of begging.
While in high school he drew a crazy number of caricatures at the local theme park becoming their top artist. All his money went to a crazy amount of art supplies while he studied graphic design and illustration at Memphis College of Art, and thus ate a crazy amount of ramen noodles and Little Debbie snack cakes. After graduating he served as art director of a planetarium for two years while doing a crazy amount of freelance illustration work. Taking his art in a crazy new direction, Pashur began body painting as an art form, becoming a pioneer in the modern body painting arts movement and even helped develop the TV show, Skin Wars.
Over 20 years later, he has now reinvented his illustration style, digitally. He now lives in Los Angeles creating a crazy amount of art on any subject that he considers fun. He is constantly inspired by a crazy number of things such as the Halloween season, cryptids, 80s nostalgia, cartoons, action figures, retro arcade games, gum wrappers to name just a few. Oh, and he has won a crazy number of awards.
