Eric Seaburg is an illustrator and artist living in Sacramento, CA. He is originally from Newtown, Connecticut and has lived in New Zealand, Mississippi, Germany, Connecticut and California. He has a BFA from Paier College of Art and an MFA from Academy of Art University.
He has been involved with many types of art. He focuses on book cover and book interior art in the sci-fi, fantasy, mystery/thriller, horror and military historical fiction genres among others.
His skills include but are not limited to digital and traditional painting, narrative painting, concept art, color theory, perspective, character design, and environment design. Eric also has experience in publishing including writing and creating children’s books, editing, book design and layout, and comics.
While at the Academy of Art his illustration talent was recognized in their annual Spring Show where he won 1st Place in 2022 for his advertising illustration. His client list includes Blue Note Publications. He enjoys
working with publishers to create book cover and book interior art among other projects.
He runs his own freelance illustration business called Eric Seaburg Art. Eric Seaburg Art is a certified SDVOSB.
