“I’m a full time illustrator and writer. Before beginning my freelance career I worked for an independent movie production company as production designer and writer of feature films.
I have written/illustrated thirty-two children’s picture books, among them HUMPHREY’S FIRST CHRISTMAS, and ONCE UPON A COOL MOTORCYCLE DUDE, winner of eight state awards.
My art has appeared on everything from book covers to bookmarks and I’ve done work for DISNEY, WIZARDS OF THE COAST, Ray Bradbury, SCHOLASTIC, PENGUIN PUTNAM/Henry Winkler, and many others.
Some of my awards include; Spectrum, Print’s Regional Design Annual, The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and The Society of Illustrators LA. My biography has been included in Who’s Who in America, Contemporary Authors etc.
I’m currently working on several children’s book projects and a series of fantasy wizards set in urban landscapes. I really love writing and illustrating fantasy because no one can tell you your dragon is wrong!”
