Hilary Clarcq is an illustrator and artist who works primarily in oil on panel. She was raised on the East Coast of the US and moved West to attend the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she earned a degree in English and Fine Art. She currently lives and works outside of Boulder.

Most recently, she illustrated Dune: Messiah by Frank Herbert for The Folio Society (@foliosociety). Coming up on June 7, 2024, Hilary will have several pieces in the Character in Context show at the A.R. Mitchell Museum (@armitchellmuseum) in Trindad, CO curated by Elliot Lang (@ellistrator). The show is the largest exhibition of original illustrations in the Western US and in Colorado’s history.
