The class will consist of in-class assignments and homework which will include the creation of two portfolio pieces for action and comedy. We will be analyzing comedic and action sequences from films of the last decade, giving lectures on the theory of the mechanics of a good action sequence, drawing style, mechanics and timing for these action and comedy sequences and learning what makes good and dynamic action and comedic sequences.

 Warren is a storyboard artist for live action films and has worked in this medium since 1994. He has worked on films such as “Die Hard With A Vengeance”, “A Beautiful Mind”, “The Bourne Identity”, “2 Fast 2 Furious”, “Evan Almighty, “Rush Hour 3”, “The A-Team”, “X-Men: First Class”, “Amazing Spiderman”, “Rise of the Planet of the Earth”, and “Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked”. Warren has also worked on a number of TV shows including “Burn Notice”, “Mob City”, “NCIS: New Orleans” and “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Most recently he’s worked on “Straight Out of Compton”, “Their Finest Hour and just finished on “X-Men Gambit”.
