California Lawyers for the Arts is a state-wide 501(c)(3) nonprofit that aims to empower artists through legal education and legal service. As part of this mission, they offer workshops designed to inform members of the arts community about their legal rights and provide a forum for addressing their questions and concerns regarding legal issues.
On August 10, 2013 they’re hosting a workshop in Downtown LA entitled, “Grantwriting 101 for Individual Artists.” The purpose of this event will be to discuss the needs of individual artists who are looking for funding for their specific arts project. For event registration please click here
