Ian Dale‘s (@iandaleart) illustrations have recently been used to encourage and inspire underprivileged kids worldwide through a project with World Vision, a leading humanitarian organization seeking to build a better world for children.

Dale was commissioned to illustrate two storybook greeting cards as part of World Vision’s “bounceback” initiative for sponsored children. The story cards are sent to each child’s sponsor, who can sign it with a personal message, before sending it back to World Vision and onward to the child as a holiday greeting.

Each story features vibrant painterly illustrations and a diverse group of characters learning about their own immeasurable value and the joy of extending kindness to others.
