Residing in Long Beach, CA, Megumi has taught, created, and exhibited art for more than 20 years. Her use of color and style reflects her childhood memories also Japanese fairytales and heritage. Her work has been exhibited in the Folk Art Museum of Los Angeles, Hallmark Inc. Kansas, MO, and the Brand Library Art Galleries in Glendale, CA. She was also one of four women artists who were awarded grants from the Consulate General of Japan in Detroit, the Japan Foundation of New York, and the Japanese Association of Northeast Ohio.
