HI-HO! I'm Maddie! I was born and raised in bright n' sunny California. I majored in Illustration and fine art and graduated from ArtCenter College of Design in 2017. My work has been shown at galleries throughout LA including Pop Secret Gallery, La Luz De Jesus Gallery, GR2, Alyce de Roulet Williamson Gallery, and others. I am skilled in both digital and analog media, including sewing and printmaking. I'm inspired by all things kitsch, retro, and wonky. My work deals with human nature, body image, and finding both meaning and humor in life’s mundane moments.

My work ranges from the surreal and emotive to nature-based and calming. I am a fantasy fiction writer working my way up to the intricacy and nuance of fantasy fiction illustration, but for now I am happiest drawing animals and nature as well as dreamscapes and women in fantastical settings.

Ian Dale

I’m a freelance children’s, interactive, and editorial illustrator based in Los Angeles, California. My work tends towards richly-detailed digital paintings that live somewhere between animation and photorealism. I enjoy creating characters that come from around our world, and that inhabit worlds of imagination.

I’m at home with conceptual thinking and communication, and I love to transform complex ideas into clear and appealing images. My extensive background in design and animation also helps me to see the big picture when illustrating for a variety of projects.
