Opening Night at The Gallery

and  Website Launch

Join us on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at The Gallery at the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles at 5119 Eagle Rock Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90041 for our 53rd Illustration West. Our Gallery and website will be showcasing  the 252 (out of over 1000 entries) pieces of art that were juried and deemed worthy of being exhibited and there will also be an Awards Ceremony at 8:00 pm. In addition to seeing this wonderful art on the walls you’ll be able to view some of the work that couldn’t travel to Los Angeles on our plasma screen.

Our over 100 accepted artists and award winners are from around the world: From Los Angeles to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Massachuttes, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin to the United Kingdom, South Korea, Poland, Philippines, Mexico, Japan, Italy, France, Canada, Australia.

Our Show Chair, Miriam “Mimi” King and our panel of judges, Calef Brown, Jorge Colombo, Georganne Deen, Richard Downs, Ann Field, Mimi Pond, Melanie Reim, Owen Smith (who also did the artwork for the poster) and Victoria Ying all worked very hard to come up with this wonderful show from so many talented artists.
