"Creating and Marketing Web Comics"- Dave Kellett

Dave Kellett, creator of the daily webcomic "Sheldon" (sheldoncomics.com), co-author of Image Comics' sold-out book, "How To Make Webcomics", and co-host of the weekly cartoonist-focused podcast "Webcomics Weekly" joins SILA for a short talk about the burgeoning possibilities for cartoonists working online. Dave is one of three dozen professional cartoonists making their living solely via their webcomic, and will be talking through how these cartoonists employ the web, long-tail sales, and core-audience cultivation to make their careers work. Dave will be answering any questions that come up, and mingling with SILA members before and after the talk.
