alinachau_class-page3 weeks at The Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles Headquarters located at 5119 Eagle Rock Blvd., Los Angeles, CA  (see below for payment link)

This course is designed for students of all levels. From someone who is hoping to get into art and trying to figure out where and how to begin creating their art; to the professional artist who would like to break away from their routine and try something different or start their own personal IP / brand.

The core philosophy is to empower students with a series of practical techniques and mental tools to realize their own unique creative voice. We will address how to understand and overcome personal fear and insecurity that often halts creative growth, i.e.”creative block”.

This workshop will also provide tips and tricks to seek inspiration and discover new forms of self-expression. Throughout the course, there will be mini exercises and group discussion sessions to help students practice and apply lessons learned. The classroom will provide a safe and supportive environment to allow students to share their project ideas and artwork. Alina will share her personal creative stories with the class. The goal is to help students kick start their personal projects by providing the necessary steps.

(Format of this class – “slide” presentations, drawing & writing exercises, group discussions & presentations)
