I am Dr. Dee Gaines, serving as the secretary of the NAN Foundation, a charity organization of the largest group of brain-neuropsychology doctors that focuses on helping the brain injured.
We have a new project: books for children of combat veterans who suffer from brain injury, to help them cope with their parents’ difficulties. These books will be distributed to veterans’ families nationwide, for free.
None of us are getting paid for this project; we are serving the cause and feel it is a great honor to do so. There may be a symbolic compensation for your time.
We are looking for an illustrator who would like to submit their interest to illustrate our first book, for ages 8-12.
